We have produced, on average, 55 video weddings a year. That also gives us the opportunity to work with lots of local and destination guest photographers. Many brides, not knowing the quality or services of the photographers of their destination wedding and or may not work with a local wedding planner that will make valuable recommendation, will hire a photographer from their locality or one that they were able to meet in person before their destination wedding or just browse on the internet for “destination wedding photographer”. Being in both side of the coverage wedding process let me make this comment or observation, the wedding party will bring some very good photographers and some others I wonder how they got to pick them and pay so much more then what they could have gotten from a Puerto Vallarta photographer. When it is the first time that I meet a new photographer at a wedding, I usually ask for his business card, so I can then go look at his web site and really see what kind of result they do deliver. Sometimes it really chocks me! What they may have paid for this? I know what would be the minimum price, then the traveling and hotel stay, extra expenses, then the extra packages services they will add-on, etc. A Puerto Vallarta photographer would have been half of that, if not much less. Not all of our local photographers are nationals that do not speak English, there are many US and Canadian photographers that have made their residence in Puerto Vallarta and stay here permanently or stay for the major part of the hi-wedding period (October to June). Many of our Local Mexican photographers are also by far better then many of the imported wedding photographers. Puerto Vallarta has many, many Excellent Wedding Photographers.
